Potential Strategy for British Grand Prix
Silverstone has a very long pit lane, and changing tyres is very time consuming, so most drivers would aim for a one stop strategy. However, the forecast for this weekend is mostly rainy, so it’s very likely, we’ll see intermediate and wet tyres being put into use for the race. Silverstone is a circuit where drivers push with full throttle for most of the circuit, and great engine efficiency may be critical. Last 3 years saw 3 different race winners (Hamilton, Sainz, Verstappen), and this year it may be McLaren, which showed best race pace in the Austrian Grand Prix.
