The Crown Jewel of Formula 1, and one of the Crowns of the Triple Crown one can achieve in Motorsports. Formula 1 is back to the streets of Monaco, and we’re in for a treat of a weekend. Although Max Verstappen won the race in Imola, Lando Norris was on his back until the very last lap, and Ferrari showed great pace throughout the practice sessions and qualifying. In Monaco, where you qualify is in most cases where you finish, so Saturday performance will be as important as on Sunday.

Monaco Grand Prix potential strategy

Setting up a strategy for Monaco Grand Prix is not a rocket science. Position on track is essential, and overtaking is extremely difficult. Pirelli chose the three softest compounds of C3, C4 and C5. Despite that, all drivers will attempt a one-stop race, not to get stuck in the traffic. Those, who can last long on their compounds, can benefit from an overcut, and wait out a potential safety car. Those, who can’t drive around traffic, will probably lose bits of their front wing, and the debris can become a problem. There is some potential rain on the horizon for the Saturday qualifying, but it’s too early to predict the weather exactly.
